Converted warehouses and offices in Hollerich

Converted warehouses and offices in Hollerich

Who it suits

Hollerich is the industrial-turned-office district southwest of Gare, along Route d’Esch and Rue de Hollerich. Stay here if you have a conference at Luxexpo's satellite spaces, a concert at den Atelier (the small live venue on Rue de Hollerich), or if you want cheap parking near a tram line under construction toward Cloche d’Or. It suits business travellers on a budget and music fans.

It does not suit families or anyone looking for charm. Hollerich is functional rather than pretty, and evenings are quiet except around the venues.

What is walkable

Den Atelier and a handful of restaurants along Rue de Hollerich, plus the Rotondes cultural centre 15 minutes east. The Gare and its tram stop are 15 minutes on foot, so old-town access is a two-step affair. Ibis, Novotel and a few independents sit along the main routes; expect 100-140 EUR midweek, less on weekends when business demand drops.

Frequently asked questions

The extension south toward Cloche d’Or is being built in phases. For now, buses 12, 22 and 27 connect Hollerich to the centre every few minutes.

How far is den Atelier from Hollerich hotels?

Most Hollerich hotels are 5-15 minutes on foot from den Atelier on Rue de Hollerich — a real perk if you have concert tickets.
