Skip if you want atmosphere — the streets have almost no ground-floor life outside the mall, and eating out means either the mall food court or booked-ahead restaurants near the Coque sports center. Tram T1 runs the length of the plateau from Luxexpo (east) to Gare Centrale (south) via Hamilius — every 5-6 minutes, free, no ticket. Kirchberg to Ville Haute is 8 minutes on the tram. From the airport, bus 16 stops at multiple Kirchberg locations before continuing to Hamilius — 12 minutes and free. The Pfaffenthal-Kirchberg funicular links the plateau to the valley in 60 seconds.
