Sofitel Luxembourg Europe is the default for Commission and Parliament visitors — the circular tower is walking distance to the Kirchberg institutions, the desks are proper, and breakfast starts at 06:30. Mélia Luxembourg next door has slightly better rooms and a similar business setup, with a rooftop bar useful for informal meetings. Both run around €260-320 midweek.

DoubleTree by Hilton Dommeldange is one tram stop out but has the best value for the level of service, plus a large car park if you are driving in. Novotel Luxembourg Kirchberg is the reliable mid-tier — nothing exciting, but the pool, breakfast and check-in all work.

Cheaper, and where to skip

Ibis Styles Luxembourg Centre Gare is 20 minutes by tram to Kirchberg and half the price of Sofitel. Suite Novotel Luxembourg is family-oriented and less obviously business but the rooms are large enough for two people to work in. Staybridge Suites Kirchberg is the long-stay pick — apartment format, laundry on site, breakfast included in a rate that gets cheaper past night four.

Skip the small Kirchberg guesthouses if you have back-to-back meetings; the Wi-Fi and desk situation is unreliable and there is no early breakfast. If you need a boardroom on site rather than a co-working corner, the Sofitel and Mélia are the only reliable options.
