All public transport, always. The Chemin de la Corniche cliff walk. The Pfaffenthal panoramic lift and Ville Haute funicular lift. Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Grand-Ducal Palace exterior, and the Bourbon and Adolphe bridges. The Wenzel Circular Walk (5 km signposted route through the Grund) is entirely free and doubles as the city's best hiking introduction.
