Farmers market at Place Guillaume II
Place Guillaume II market
The main farmers market runs Wednesday and Saturday mornings 07:00-13:30 on Place Guillaume II (locals call it Knuedler). Around 40 stalls sell Moselle wines, Ardennes hams, farmhouse cheeses, honey, and seasonal produce. Best stops: Käseland for aged Kachkéis, the Ardennes charcuterie truck near the town hall, and Vins Krier for $12 crémant bottles. Come at 08:00 for choice, 12:30 for markdowns.

Sunday morning 10:00-13:00 at Place Léon XIII in Bonnevoie. Smaller, more local, better bread and cheaper than the Place Guillaume II market. The organic vegetable stalls sell direct from Luxembourg farms and prices run 20% below city supermarkets. Combine with brunch at Konrad's sister café Konrad Kaffi across the square.
Glacis flea market
Held the third Saturday of most months (April-October) at Glacis field near Limpertsberg. 200+ stalls from 07:00-14:00 with antiques, vintage clothes, old books, and the odd Luxembourg curiosity. Bargaining expected — start at 60% of asking. Free bus 15 from Central Station.
Winterlights and Braderie
The Winterlights Christmas markets run from late November through 24 December across three squares — Place d’Armes has food stalls (glühwein $5, gromperekichelcher $7), Place de la Constitution has a Ferris wheel, and Place Guillaume II keeps its regular market. The August Braderie sidewalk sale sees the whole city centre become a shopping street on the last Monday of August.
