Getting there
Take any northbound train from Luxembourg Central to Ettelbruck (35 min, free). Change to bus 570 direction Vianden (25 min, free), which drops you at the Vianden Post stop 400 metres below the castle. Departures every 30 minutes on weekdays, hourly on weekends. Total travel time: about 90 minutes each way. The last return train from Ettelbruck is around 22:30.
