Getting there
Bus 175 from Luxembourg Central runs direct to Remich in 50 minutes, every 30 minutes. Free. The bus stop is on the Moselle promenade, 200 metres from the wineries and river cruise dock. For Grevenmacher (larger and more central for wine touring), take bus 130.
Wine and cruise
Caves St. Martin on Route de Stadtbredimus offer 45-minute cellar tours with three tastings for $9, running hourly 10:00-17:00 Tuesday-Sunday. Bernard-Massard in Grevenmacher runs a similar tour for $12 and includes crémant. For serious wine buyers, Domaine Alice Hartmann in Wormeldange (bus 485 from Remich) is small-batch and pours by appointment.
The MS Princesse Marie-Astrid cruise ship runs 90-minute Moselle circuits from Remich dock for $18, departing 14:30 and 16:00 on summer weekends.
Eating in Remich
L'Écluse on Quai de la Moselle serves $28 river-view lunches — try the Moselle pike-perch with Riesling sauce. For cheaper, the Café des Sports on Rue Enz has $12 daily plates and a proper local crowd.
