Gare is the quarter directly around Luxembourg Central Station, running north along Avenue de la Liberte toward the Adolphe Bridge and Ville Haute. It has the highest hotel density in the country. The tram runs straight through it for free, so you reach the old town in 6 minutes and Kirchberg in 15.
